MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a professional quality 24 hour community radio service to listeners.
Providing a platform and voice for people who do not normally get their voice heard in society.
 
After meeting on a monthly basis over the last 10 years, Burngreave Community Radio successfully managed to secure a 5 year license to operate a full time radio service. The founder of Burngreave Community Radio, Aisha Special K has over 20 years of live radio broadcasting and DJing skills and experience throughout the UK and Europe. Her skills and experience is now been transferred onto others. especially the younger generation to become the radio broadcasters of the future.
 
BCR has over 80 presenters that bring a wealth of different skills, knowledge and experience, all broadcasting in different  musical styles including Soul, RnB, Hip Hop, Garage, Drum & Bass, Dub Step, Funky House, Jazz, World Music, Kurdish, Asian Remixes, Bhangra, African Beatz, Reggae Lovers, Dancehall, Ragga and Revival

BCR 103.1 FM, has over 200 signed and paid members. To become a member of Burngreave Community Radio Ltd just contact us and request a membership form.
 
BCR has tried to keep the membership fee as low as possible. Annual Membership fees are: £15 Employed (Fulltime), £10  employed (part time) and £5 for the unemployed. Please note: membership for people aged 18 yrs & under and over 65 are FREE.
