Brief on Career:
| Started as reggae sound system selector at the age of 14 in 1979, on a sound called Embassador (later Emperor) and was operating on the sound system circuit in Sheffield right througout the 80's.
Departed from the sound system scene at the of summer 1989 to go to college but maintained his interest in the local music scene through studio work he was doing as a singer.
Whilst working as a Community Development Officer for Creative Burngreave (BNDFC) an opportunity arose to do a bit of presenting on the Burngreave Community Radio station when it recieved its first 4 week licence.
I took up the offer and recaptured the bug, no looking back! |
